Children’s Ministry of Cornerstone is helping build the hearts, minds, and character of children. It is our desire that each child understand how unique and valuable he or she is and how much they are loved—by God and by us! The Children's Ministry sponsors Vacation Bible School, BLAST ZONE, Sweetheart/Beau Contest and many other events and activities to encourage our children to learn God's Word and nurture their growth in the kingdom of God.
Drama Ministry is for the purpose of reaching people’s hearts with the interpretation of God’s Word through dramatic performance. The Drama Ministry sponsors either an Easter or Christmas drama annually and is a venue for Cornerstone to reach the community.
Flashpoint,the Youth Ministry of Cornerstone, exists to help young people establish deeper relationships with Jesus Christ and with each other by providing spiritual and social activities on a consistent basis. Flashpoint Youth meet weekly for events, socials, activities and services geared to lead them deeper committed relationship with God.
Girlfriends Unlimitedcenters on bringing women together so they can meet new friends and enjoy old friends in a variety of settings. Some activities scheduled within the year are Ladies Conference, Healing for the Handmaidens, Girlfriends Unlimited Late Night Prayer, Mother/Daughter Brunch and much more. All to enhance growth in relationship with God and each other.
Guest Ministry, Hands In The Harvest Ministry (HITH)
Guest Ministry exists to extend hospitality to every person who comes through the doors of Cornerstone so the experience is pleasant and you feel welcomed. Hands In The Harvest Ministry (HITH) provides assistance to those who are experiencing life's difficulties. Angel Food Ministries is provided through this benevolence ministry.
Kingdom Buildersconnects men for the purposes of building lives that are God-centered and well balanced and targets each event to enhance, strengthen and develop men to be all that God intended them to be. Some events included within Kingdom Builders Men's Ministry is Apple Blossom Fundraiser, Fishing Trip and Men's Conference.
Ministry Assistance coordinates churchwide events, baptisms, communion and foot washing for special services. Hospital Associate & Hospital Associate Assistant ministers to members who are hospitalized through prayer and visitation.
Multi Media provides power point presentations for songs, special events and Cornerstone’s services. MultiMedia ministry has CD's of each service available.
Music Ministry lifts the spirit, opens the heart, and ushers us into the presence of God. It provides opportunities for individuals of all ages to use their musical, vocal and dramatic talents to glorify God and to minister to people. The Music Ministry includes Adult and Youth Choir, Ladies and Men's Ensembles, Handmaidens (a creative sign language interpretation of song) and Christmas Choir musicals.
Prayer Ministry is central to all who make Cornerstone their home.Nothing is more effective and necessary to the Christian than prayer.The Prayer Ministry includes Shekinah Kids and Echo Youth Prayer, ministries committed to teaching young children and youth to pray in the Spirit and listen to God's voice.Also, the Prayer Ministry supports Doorkeepers, an intercessory prayer group that meet regularly to intercede for the church, the Pastor and his family and many other requests. Annually, the Prayer Ministry sponsors the Back to School Prayer Rally for the purpose of praying for the children before they return to school.
Sound Ministry records every service at Cornerstone on CD and manages sound during services. Optimal sound performance is provided by utilizing trained, anointed staff.
Sure Foundation is a life-development course that introduces the basic concepts and principles of Christian living to new members, stimulates spiritual growth, and provides assistance in finding spiritual direction.
